The folks at the Max Borges Agency sent us out a set of Wicked Audio Tour headphones, and the best I can say about them is that they do a great job of looking distinctive. Their actual use, however, isn’t the best.
 
The Wicked Audio Tour headphones offer up a four foot long cable, a 3.5 mm jack-compatible plug, thirty two ohms impedance and a frequency range of twenty to twenty thousand hertz.
 
As seems to be the case with most of Wicked Audio’s hardware, the Tour headphones do a great job on bass but seem to forget about most everything else.  Now, hand it to the Tour, they do make an extra effort to fit on your head. The headband is actually hinged in the middle, so that they bend for a little better fit. And indeed, that’s a welcome advantage, considering the last time I tackled Wicked Audio headphones I railed against them for being uncomfortable to wear. The Wicked Audio Tours will be better than previous iterations, but not by much. Once again, the earcups are the big problem here–while the headband goes all out to fit well, the ear cups can’t say the same. If they’d put a couple extra inches on the radius on these puppies, they might well have pulled off quite the coup.  But as it is, these may not be the best headphones from Wicked Audio, but they’re far from the worst.
 

Consider these the midrange for Wicked Audio–nothing fantastic, but not too bad, either, and when you consider they’re selling at twelve dollars a set in a whole lot of places, you’ll likely feel a whole lot better about picking up a set.
